What is Disaster Recovery
Disaster recovery is the capability of an enterprise to normal operational state after an event(s) disrupts its operations.
- This disruption is usually significant and not transient in nature
- The event(s) are usually catastrophic
- Normalcy in operations can be phased in with the most mission critical functions brought online first
