Performance-Based Earned Value® (PBEVSM)

Performance-Based Earned Value® (PBEVSM) is a set of principles and guidelines that specify effective measures of technical performance for use with earned value management (EVM). Its guidelines are based on standards and models for systems engineering, software engineering, and project management. PBEV also supports Department of Defense (DoD) policy and guides. PBEV ensures that the product requirements baseline, or technical baseline, is incorporated into the performance measurement baseline (PMB). PBEV is an enhancement to the EVM Systems (EVMS) standard.
