What is Rockart and Scott's Alignment Model?

Rockart and Scott's Alignment Model is a framework for understanding how technology can support business objectives. The model helps organizations to create a strategy for aligning technology with business goals. The model consists of four components: Vision, Strategy, Process, and Support. The vision component helps organizations to define their overall business goals and objectives. The strategy component outlines how technology can be used to achieve those goals, while the process component explains the steps needed to implement the strategy. The support component outlines the roles and responsibilities of those involved in the process, as well as the resources available to them. This model allows organizations to create an effective technology strategy that is tailored to their specific needs.
