Vendor
A vendor is a person or company offering something for sale, especially a trader in the street. Vendors may sell to other businesses, or they may be retailers who sell straight to consumers. For example, a furniture manufacturer supplies furniture to a retail store, or a consultant can provide their services to a manufacturing company; both are vendors.
A vendor is also referred to as a seller, supplier, service provider, and partner. The latter signifies a closer relationship between the buyer and the seller.
