Transition Methodology is the process of migrating knowledge, systems, and operating capabilities between an outsourcing environment and an in-house staff. The overall success of the outsourcing engagement is very much dependent on the effectiveness of the transition.[1]
Generally, a phased approach is adopted to safely and effeciently transition the many processes of the organization. The main phases are:
- Initiation
- Transition
- Implementation
- Optimization
