Poka-Yoke is a Japanese term that translates to "mistake-proofing" or "error-proofing." It is a quality control concept that aims to prevent errors and defects in manufacturing, service delivery, or other processes by designing mechanisms or procedures that either prevent mistakes from happening or quickly identify them when they do occur.
