Uniform Resource Locator (URL)

Uniform Resource Locator or URL is the unique address of a resource such as an HTML page, a CSS document, or an image on the Web. A URL is used to uniquely identify resources on the web. Without it, neither users nor bots would not be able to refer to, locate and use web resources.
