Object Modeling Technique (OMT)

What is Object Modeling Technique (OMT)?

Object Modeling Technique (OMT) is a fast, intuitive method for system analysis, design, and implementation. It consists of four phases: Analysis, System Design, Object Design, and Implementation. OMT is an iterative process that can be performed in a number of ways. It is a methodology for developing object-oriented software that is easy to understand and can be used by system and software developers. OMT has been very successful in many application domains and can be used throughout the entire development cycle as a way to use the object-oriented paradigm throughout the development cycle. In addition to this, C-MEAN modeling can provide further insights into how objects should interact with each other within an OMT framework.
