SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference Model)

The Supply Chain Operations Reference model (SCOR) is the product of APICS following the merger between Supply Chain Council and APICS in 2014. The SCOR model was established in 1996 and updated regularly to adapt to changes in supply chain business practices. SCOR remains a powerful tool for evaluating and comparing supply chain activities and performance. SCOR captures a consensus view of supply chain management. It provides a unique framework that links business process, metrics, best practices, and technology into a unified structure to support communication among supply chain partners and to improve the effectiveness of supply chain management and related supply chain improvement activities.[1]
