Web Content Management

What is Web Content Management?

Web content management (WCM) is a set of processes and technologies used to create, manage, and publish digital content on the web. This content can include text, images, video, and other media, and can be used for a variety of purposes such as marketing, communication, and education.

Web content management systems (CMS) are software applications that are used to manage the creation, modification, and removal of digital content. These systems provide a range of tools and features to help users create and manage web content, including content creation and editing tools, templates and layout options, and the ability to publish content to the web.

Service level requirements (SLRs) can be relevant to web content management in a number of ways. For example, an SLA between a customer and a web content management service provider might include SLRs related to the availability and performance of the CMS, as well as the security and reliability of the content that is published using the system.

In addition to SLRs related to the CMS itself, an SLA might also include SLRs related to the content that is published using the system. This could include requirements for the quality and accuracy of the content, as well as requirements for how quickly the content is published and updated.
